All stones are cut and processed in our New Jersey facility—no outsourcing, no overseas delays, no quality inconsistency. Fast, consistent restocking for wholesalers.

Our Montana sapphires are sourced responsibly with fair wages, safe conditions, and environmentally conscious practices. Beauty with integrity.

What Makes Our Sapphires Different
Every sapphire is cut to mathematically ideal angles based on sapphire's refractive index (1.76) and critical angle (34.62°) to maximize brilliance.
Using the Jang 1024 robotic system, each facet is shaped perfectly—no windowing, no fish-eye effect, no inconsistency.
2,000–4,000 melee per day (1–3 mm), 400–800 stones (3.5–10 mm), 100–200 stones (>10 mm). Ideal for professional jewelers and manufacturers.
Uniform brilliance and symmetry across batches—perfect for matched pairs and multi-stone pieces.

My role as a master jeweler is not to change the stone, but to honor what nature already perfected.
Introducing Kiwon Jang, a distinguished gem expert endowed with profound knowledge of optimal numerical values for various gemstones. Leveraging this expertise, he pioneered the invention of a cutting-edge machine capable of accurately inputting and processing these values. Diverging from human limitations, his robotic creation meticulously translates the optimal dimensions and precise cutting techniques from raw stones, birthing gemstones that radiate with unparalleled luminosity. This synergy of human expertise and robotic precision redefines the boundaries of gemstone craftsmanship at The Sapphire.
In 2012, Kiwon was honored by the GIA for his incredible accomplishments and contributions to the world of gemstone cutting. He was a true master of his craft, and his legacy inspired generations of jewelers and gem cutters. For Kiwon, there was no greater joy than creating something beautiful and extraordinary out of a simple gemstone, and his passion and talent shone through in every piece he crafted.
